Barb’s Awesome Chili


2 lb. ground chuck or ground round, browned, crumbled
1 large vidalia onion
4 cloves garlic, minced

2 16-ounce cans of diced tomatoes
1 16-ounce can of red kidney beans, drained
1 16-ounce can of black beans, drained
1-1/2 cups tomato juice
1 can beef broth
2 4-ounce cans of diced green chili peppers
2 Tablespoons worcestershire sause
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons oregano
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
Several drops of tobasco sauce and whatever other hot sauce I have on hand. Add this to taste. We like it hot, so I add quite a bit.
1 small bag of frozen corn


1. Brown the hamburger and rinse off the fat.

2. Saute the onion and garlic with the hamburger.

3. In a crock pot, mix together the hamburger mixture and all other ingredients. Let simmer all day. Enjoy!
